Welcome to Babytime!
Your baby is never too young to visit the library. Babytime is the first step in helping your
child become a regular library user and exposing them to the world of
books. This is also the time to develop
early literacy skills. Early literacy
skills give children the foundation to learn to read. Five of the best ways to help your child get
ready to read are talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing. Come join Ms Elizabeth in the storytime room Tuesday at 9:30 am for books, rhymes,
songs, and play!
On this site you will find songs and books used during Babytime
plus early literacy tips and children activities. Many time songs will repeat- babies love
repetition and need repetition to learn.
